hen I was young (late seventies – early eighties), a Dutch band named “Doe Maar” was very famous, especially with young girls. We all remember the song “Nederwiet”. I had some paint left and created this work. Nothing special, just painting from scratch.

nfluences from Gaudi are the base of this painting. In Catalunya a lot of buildings from the ‘modernista’ period are well preserved. Of course Antoni Gaudi, as an artist, architect, designer and so on… is one of the most famous Catalan people. His works can be found in whole Catalunya. Gaudi was born in the city named Reus, near Salou. In Reus you can find the Gaudi Centre, go there and you find the base of his work.
